This policy applies to students who purchase paid courses on Dev Skill (the “Platform”). It explains when you may request a refund, how requests are reviewed, and how approved refunds are paid.

You may request a refund only when both of these are true:

1. Within 72 hours (3 days) of the time your payment completed (the moment your order status becomes “Paid”). The timestamp of your refund request is what counts — if you submit before the window closes, your request is reviewed even if the review finishes later.

2. You have completed 30% or less of each course you are asking to refund. Completion means the share of the course's lessons you have finished (completed lessons ÷ total lessons; a course with no lessons counts as 0%). Your completion percentage is recorded at the moment you submit the request and does not change afterward.

After the 72-hour window expires, or once a course passes 30% completion, no refund request is accepted under this policy. Requests refused this way are refused at submission, not rejected after review.

In an order with several courses, the 30% cap applies per course: a course you have completed more than 30% of cannot be refunded, but that does not affect the other courses in the same order.

One open refund request per order at a time; you may cancel it before a decision.

You may request a full or partial amount, up to the order total and reduced by any refunds already approved for that order.

A reason is mandatory. Write it in your own words — there is no fixed list you must pick from (section 5 explains what reviewers look for).

1. Sign in and open My Orders in your dashboard.

2. Choose the paid order and select Request Refund.

3. Enter the amount and your reason, then submit.

You will receive a confirmation email when the request is submitted, and further emails when a decision is recorded and (if approved) when the refund is credited.

There is no fixed dropdown, but reviewers work from this published catalog of acceptable reasons:

ReasonTypically covers
Accidental purchaseBought in error and little or no content accessed
Duplicate purchaseThe same course bought twice on the same account
Content significantly not as describedWhat was delivered differs materially from the course page (topics, level, instructor promises)
Access or technical failureYou cannot access the purchased content and Support could not resolve it within the window
Enrollment never activatedPayment succeeded but course access was never granted
Price charged incorrectlyYou were charged an amount that does not match your order confirmation

Change of mind after substantial use, wanting a different instructor, lack of time to study, or free personal preference. A reviewer may still consider exceptional circumstances.

Every request is reviewed by a Platform administrator — approval is never automatic.

Full approval — the entire requested amount is refunded.

Partial approval — a reduced amount is approved (for example, when part of the course content was consumed; section 7).

Rejection — with a recorded explanation communicated to you.

Reviewers consider, among other things: the reason given, how much of the course you have consumed (lesson completion — always 30% or less for accepted requests, but reviewers weigh even low consumption when choosing full or partial), whether a certificate was issued, your refund history, and signs of policy abuse.

Service commitment: a decision within 7 business days of your request (business days in Bangladesh: Sunday–Thursday, excluding public holidays).

Refunds are always paid to your Dev Skill Credit Wallet — never to a bank account, card, or payment wallet. The credit is usable toward any course purchase on the Platform, never expires, and is visible in your statement with its source.

Full refund of a course item: your enrollment for that course is revoked and any certificate issued for it becomes invalid. You lose access to the course content.

Partial refund: your enrollment remains active — you keep access.

Credit Wallet credit within 72 hours of approval.

Credit-funded purchases: if you paid partly or fully with Credit Wallet balance, the approved amount is still refunded as Credit Wallet credit — regardless of how the order was originally funded. Refunding credit returns credit.

Coupon-discounted purchases: refunds are computed on the amount you actually paid, not the pre-discount price.

Multiple-course orders: refunds are assessed per course item; you can request a refund for one course in a multi-course order.

Goodwill credit: outside this policy, the Platform may occasionally issue goodwill Credit Wallet credit at its sole discretion. Such credit is a gesture, not an obligation, and does not extend the refund window.

No refund request is accepted when: the 72-hour window has closed; any course included in the request is past 30% completion; the order is not paid; an open request already exists for the order; cumulative approved refunds already equal the order total; or the request is part of a pattern of abuse (for example, repeated purchase-consume-refund cycles), which may additionally lead to account action under the Terms & Conditions.

Questions about a request: support@devskill.example. We answer in English today; বাংলা support arrives with the Bangla release. If you cannot access the site to submit a request, email us from your registered address within the window and we will open the request for you.

We may revise this policy prospectively. The version that applied to your order is recorded with your refund request, so a later change never rewrites the rules your purchase was made under. Current and past versions are listed below.
